Alice

Alice is an advanced doctoral student clinician at Integrative Psychology Group, LLC. She is a rising fourth-year in the clinical psychology doctorate program at West Chester University. Alice earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Neuroscience at Swarthmore College and a Master of Science degree in Medical Sciences at the University of Southern California. As a therapist, Alice has training and experience in a variety of approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, prolonged grief disorder therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques. 

Alice enjoys working with clients who wish to explore their difficulties and underlying issues in depth. She is collaborative and empathic. Alice has provided individual therapy to clients with a range of presentations, including anxiety, depression, and prolonged grief. She also has a special interest in working with clients with co-occurring psychological and medical concerns, and also those experiencing unexpected transitions in their personal life, or at work.

Alice also has experience as a group facilitator of mindfulness-based interventions. She is currently involved in a clinical trial examining the efficacy of Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention for clients with a history of trauma who are in residential treatment for opioid addiction. She also has experience in helping clients examine the connection between substance use and mental health conditions.
