Geralyn Ryerson earned her undergraduate degree in Behavioral Science from Wilmington College in Delaware. She subsequently received her Masters Degree in Community Counseling from Wilmington College. She is a Licensed Counselor of Mental Health (LCMH).
Geralyn has many years of clinical experience in a variety of settings. She has worked with adults in various outpatient settings, including the State of Delaware Community Mental Health, and Rockford IOP and Partial Programs. She had been in private practice and also worked as a CASA (court appointed special advocate) for the State of Delaware.
Geralyn works with adults over the age of 18. Her practice focuses on working with difficulties and concerns related to depression, anxiety, women’s issues and life transitions, loss, aging and relationships. She uses a variety of therapeutic techniques in therapy depending on the needs of the client. She places emphasis on meeting her clients at their own starting point and helping them find a better path through the challenges they may be facing.
