Alice enjoys working with clients who wish to explore their difficulties and underlying issues in depth. She is collaborative and empathic. Alice has provided individual therapy to clients with a range of presentations, including anxiety, depression, and prolonged grief. She also has a special interest in working with clients with co-occurring psychological and medical concerns, and also those experiencing unexpected transitions in their personal life, or at work.
Alice also has experience as a group facilitator of mindfulness-based interventions. She is currently involved in a clinical trial examining the efficacy of Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention for clients with a history of trauma who are in residential treatment for opioid addiction. She also has experience in helping clients examine the connection between substance use and mental health conditions.
